Volume three of this series feels a little bit like the calm before the storm. Sure Hal has a lot of crazy things going on, but it comes across as the warm up for the main event. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still compelling storytelling. Johns keeps adding layers on to this character and gets readers prepared for the next installment of this series: The Sinestro Corps War. Dynamite art and great stories keep this book at the top of my stack every month.
