Edward and Alphonse Elric are alchemists. They work with the mystical power that is something between magic, art and science. They used their powers to try to resurrect their mother, with devastating results. Edward lost his leg and an arm, while Alphonse is only a soul trapped in a suit of armor. This series follows them trying to find the Philosopher’s Stone, in the hope that they can restore their bodies.
